A basketball coach on energy return and support
Josephine Bulman, a basketball strength coach, explains what the carbon fiber is meant to do.
I swear by VKTRY. They’re made from carbon fiber to provide spring-like energy return, improve force transfer, and reduce excessive loading through the foot and lower leg — especially useful for high-volume athletes.
She describes the feel during quick, multi-directional movement.
Carbon fibre insoles can help improve energy return and provide a more responsive feel during lateral movements and changes of direction 🚀
On court, she describes the base underfoot this way.
Wear VKTRY insoles - carbon fibre technology that provides a stable, responsive base underfoot so I feel supported, explosive, and confident on the court 🚀
Three years and three pairs of wear

What is your biggest volleyball flex?
Oh,
I've had them for like the longest time. And you love them? I love them. I wore them in cross country and I always got top 10. What's your biggest volleyball flex? Passing and communicating and have you ever tried victory insoles? No, not at all. Okay, so you're going to get some soon, so I'm so excited for you to try them out. Are you excited? I'm very excited.
Hey,
let's go, let's go. How long have you been wearing them for? I've gone through three pairs cuz I've worn them for the past like three years. They just like help with support like on the foot and the arch. It's really help my vertical too. Comfort level. Out of ten, what do you think? Like a nine? They're really good. Yeah, they're so comfy. I hope you like your new one. Hold that in so long. Hold that in so well.↑ quoted above
Oh my goodness. There's holes in it. They're like way better than like this. Like
it was very cool. It was so much fun. I love her so much. It was really good and she gave me a high five and I was like wow. Oh yeah, she gave me a high five too. High five. My hand was blessed. Now I can get really hard like this.
Adding torsional support to the Nike PG 6
Ls_hoops used them to address a specific shoe shortcoming.
as comfy as the PGs are, they lack torsional support so I brought VKTRY insoles to counter that.
Using the insoles in preferred cleats
The Players Academy talks about swapping them into his preferred cleats.
now I'm able to use the victory insoles to put them into my cleats that I prefer for the footing and they allow me to be stable and powerful out there and just help out really explosively.

From the standpoint of just being a little bit more twitchy on the field
these things definitely provide a little more pop. And for me a small undersized guy I try to take every advantage that I can get
when I'm out there. I mean if it gives you an advantage then that's what I'm going to take. Anything just to reduce ground contact time like getting out fast and explosive. I think especially in my sport reacting to guys that would be hugely beneficial. So for me taking face offs I think the problem I found with a lot of cleats is you're somewhere between a big bulky one where you have the push off of and I like lighter cleats to be faster and now I'm able to use the victory insoles to put them into my↑ quoted above
cleats that I prefer for the footing and they allow me to be stable and powerful out there and just help out really explosively. Agility, you feel the difference when you put them on.
She also points to takeoffs and landings.
I love them because they give me that extra pop off the floor, help reduce fatigue, and keep my joints feeling supported through every takeoff and landing 🔥🚀
Comparing them to other insoles he's used
Robby Rowland compares them with insoles he has used before.
More power off the ground, way better stability, and honestly just a cleaner feel all around compared to other insoles I’ve used before
