Different shoe types fit differently. For example, soccer shoes fit much more tightly than basketball shoes. We accommodate for these differences by having different foam cushions: yellow is 6mm thick, black is 4mm and red is 2mm. Because of this, it may be difficult for an athlete who plays multiple sports to move their VKs from a loose fitting shoe to a tighter fitting shoe.
Please ensure your VKTRY Insoles are the correct fit for your shoes. You can measure the existing insoles from toe to heel and match up to our size chart for the perfect fit. If you install your insoles and notice the edges are curling upwards, they are too big--reach out to customer support (info@vktry.com) to facilitate an exchange. VKs that are too big will not provide the proper benefits, in addition they could cause unusual wear to both the insole and/or the shoe.
VKTRY Insoles are designed to be highly personalized based not only on shoe size, but also based on sport and body weight. VKs come in 5 levels of flexibility because a bigger athlete generates more ground force than a smaller athlete.
No, we do not make VKs in different widths or arch types.They have been designed to be arch agnostic and our sizes are very generous in the width. Our VKs fit most foot types and sizes, but if any issues with comfort after trying, please contact us.
We usually recommend going down. The weight level is a big factor in determining the VK’s Pro Level (flexibility). While a higher Pro Level may provide more spring, it’s very important that you are able to comfortably flex your feet for the insoles to be effective.
We recommend that you select the shoes you will be wearing your VKs in the most and choose that shoe size when selecting your VK size. Any issues with fit, please contact us and we can arrange an exchange.

Yes, if they are the same shoe type. In other words, if you bought VKs for a cleated shoe, it's ok to move them to another cleated shoe. If you bought for a non-cleated shoe (eg-basketball), not a good idea to try to fit them into a soccer cleat. If you are moving the VKs, try to take them out by slipping your fingers under the carbon fiber plate - and not by pulling up on the foam, which can damage the VK.
If they are sewn into the shoes or glued down tight and you do not want to risk ruining the foam insoles from the factory, then stop. You can contact us and there is a chance that we can exchange your current pair of VKs for a thinner pair that may fit better.

Most insoles do come out. If they do are not easily removable, they are likely glued down. In most cases you can remove them by doing the following:
1. Carefully put your fingers underneath the insole, toward the heel / side is usually easiest.
2. Without ripping the insole, wiggle your fingers towards the front of the foot.
3. As you work your way up, gradually & gently pull your fingers up. You should begin to feel the insole start to come up. Repeat this process as many times necessary until the insole can be pulled out of the shoe in one piece.

If your VKTRY Insoles get dirty, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or soak the VKs. Do not put them in a clothes washing machine or dryer.

That depends on a number of factors such as how well you care for them and the type of training you do. Moving your VKs between shoes can lead to separation of the top and bottom - something you can avoid by buying an extra pair. Instead of a time frame, we prefer to advise customers to look for any damage such as wear and tear of the top cover. If you observe any cracking of the carbon fiber base plate, the insoles have exceeded their life span and should not be worn. Replacing your insoles each season will provide optimal results.
